Newsletter - 2014
Dear Everyman Member 1 August 2014
Please find enclosed details of Guests booked for the Everyman between September 2014 and May 2015. As always, there is a good mix of traditional and contemporary performers. We are thrilled that Grace Notes are our first guests of the new season (despite Maggie Boyle’s recent ill health) and – if we’re lucky – they’ll bring Sian Levy with them, another fine singer. We’re also delighted to have two fabulous acapella groups, The Wilson Family and Artisan. It’s very exciting that Jez Lowe is making his first visit to the Everyman, and our season ends with the superb Pete Harris accompanying Mick Ryan; a real treat as Pete does not often travel far from home these days.
Tickets and Advance Payment
Good news – we are still able to keep our ticket prices unchanged for yet another year! THANK YOU VERY MUCH – due to your continued support, the Everyman remains financially stable so there is no reason to increase ticket prices. Tickets are very good value, discounted to £5 for advance payment and otherwise £6 when paid for on the door. Please find enclosed a couple of booking forms. Additional forms are always available on Club evenings (and on the web site).
The Everyman continues to run as a Private Members Club at a venue with its own Public Entertainments Licence. Membership is free, and only requires that each Member’s name and address details are recorded on our membership list – which yours are if you have received this letter! (The membership list is not made available to any other parties). Please remember to let us know of any changes to your contact details, including your email address if appropriate.
The Everyman web site is up to date and includes details of all forthcoming guests, including links to the web sites of the Artists. We also have a Facebook page – please ‘like’ this if you are a user of Facebook, and let us know if you wish to be added to the Facebook group.
It is delightful that many of our guests comment on how much they enjoyed the Floor Singers during their visit to the Everyman – we all know how lucky we are to have such an incredible quantity and quality of performers. That said, we are always seeking new volunteers so, if you would like to perform at the Everyman, please do let us know.
We hope you are having a grand Summer – and look forward to seeing you in the Autumn.
Mary & Steve
