What a wonderful end to our season at The Everyman Folk Club on Friday with our guests, Bill Whaley & Dave Fletcher. Fine songs superbly sung, with beautiful accompaniments on various concertinas, all presented with style and dry wit by these two excellent performers.
Many thanks to all our floor spots for their fine contributions to the night - Steve & Kate Dines, Jed Laxton, The Damselflies (Ella & Lindsay Want-Beale and Tracey & Megan Wisdom), Kiti Theobold, and June Thaine & David Robertson. One each from us two too.
Thanks to everyone in the audience, for your continued support of the club and your terrific chorus singing too – exceptional. We hope everyone has a great Summer, and look forward to seeing you on Friday 30 September when our guests are Hilary Spencer & Grant Baynham - Quicksilver.
