Review - The Wilson Family

Having appeared at the Costa Del Folk Festival 2016 on Tuesday and Wednesday, The Wilson Family made it to *Costa Del Suffolk* on Friday as our guests at The Everyman Folk Club.

Each brother is a fine singer, but together Tom, Chris, Steve, Mike and Ken are magnificent. We were treated to two extensive sets of powerful close harmonies - every song presented with dedication and reverence, and interspersed with hilarious banter.

Great floor spots from John Wright, Dave Tricker, John Robinson and Charlie Haylock, plus a couple of songs from us. Thanks to all for their contribution to the evening.

The event was a sell out, and it was stunning to hear each and everyone of our fantastic audience joining in all the choruses with such energy, enthusiasm and enjoyment. The Wilson Family is known for their wall-of-sound, and we responded in kind! See you next month – Friday 27 May – when Bill Whaley and Dave Fletcher make a welcome return to The Everyman.
