An outstanding evening at The Everyman Folk Club yesterday with our guest, Jez Lowe. Beautiful and sensitive songs were performed with much compassion, balanced by Jez’s self-deprecating humour and comic songs. The Everyman audience made the most of this imaginative songwriter’s choruses and joined in as enthusiastically as ever. No wonder he is nominated for the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2015 Best Original Song and Folksinger of the Year – congratulations!

Terrific floors spots too, from Vernon Rose, Christine Jenner, John Bosley & Alex Goldsmith, Mike Green & Dave Tricker, Mary-Jane Tyrrell, and Mike & Adam Garland – bravo!
