A stupendous evening at the Everyman Folk Club last night with our magnificent guest, Brian Peters. Brian performed an excellent choice of songs and tunes from his extensive and varied repertoire, accompanying himself with skill and sensitivity on melodeon, Anglo concertina, guitar, and banjo. His devotion to this living tradition was evident in his informative and highly entertaining introductions. As an extra treat, Brian’s wife – Margaret – joined him for a beautiful and charming arrangement of Our Captain Calls. Brian is a brilliant and inventive musician, and it was a thrill to have him at the club again.

Our floor performers enhanced the evening with their fabulous singing and playing. Thanks to Graham Schofield, Deidre Lamont, Philip Lyons, Dave Tricker, Claudia Myatt, and Jenny & Mike Tabecki for their contributions.
