Review - Granny's Attic
23/02/18

Granny's Attic were stupendous as our guests at the Everyman Folk Club on Friday night. The natural ease of Cohen Braithwaite-Kilcoyne, George Sansome & Lewis Wood made for a dynamic and infectious performance. Their exceptional musicianship was seemingly effortless, and we marvelled at their vivacity and joy. Terrific three part-harmonies and accomplished solos, captivating songs, and superb tunes written by Lewis – wow!

Many thanks to all our floor spots for their engaging performances – John Robinson, Barry & Joan Irwin, Charlie Haylock, Shirley Harry, and Keith & Mary-Jane Tyrrell. Steve & I enjoyed singing a couple too.

As always, we wish to thank each and everyone in our marvellous audience - the room was bursting at the seams! We are grateful to you all for making our guests and new visitors to the club most welcome and, of course, for your magnificent chorus singing.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone again on Friday 30 March 2018 when our guests are Laura Smyth & Ted Kemp – it’s going to be a very Good Friday!
